Gabled Roof Sunrooms

A Gabled Roof Style, also known as Cathedral or A-Frame Roof, provides much desired height in your sunroom. Because all Malibu Sunrooms are custom-built, you can decide the appropriate pitch of your roof and how much trapezoid glass you'd like. Roof thickness is determined by how much you plan on using your sunroom. Options are 3"; 4 5/8"; and 6" thickness.

Malibu Sunrooms offers Glass Roof Panels, an exclusive product that is built into the roof system. These are not skylights, which can leak or encourage ice dams. Each Glass Roof Panel comes with a solar shade you can either clip in or leave out to enjoy the view of the sky.

Studio Sunrooms

A Studio Roof Style is a single-sloped roof attached either to the fascia of the house or the house itself. The Studio Sunroom is Malibu Sunrooms' most popular and economical style roof available. This time tested roof offers a clean design to your new sunroom and is custom designed to fit perfectly. The thickness of our roofing panels will depend on how you plan to use your new sunroom. They come in 3"; 4 5/8"; and 6" thickness.

Solariums

Malibu Sunrooms offers Solariums with two different roof styles the curved and straight eave. The entire roof system is made of glass. Our solarium can be thermally controlled with the sun's natural warmth, or heated and cooled for year round comfort. A solarium's look provides a unique alternative to a standard sunroom addition. Exhaust fans are often utilized to maximize your comfort level. Malibu Sunrooms' commercially rated aluminum glazing bars offer maximum structural integrity. 1" thick dual-sealed insulated glass is used in all of our solariums.

Conservatories

Conservatories became popular in the 19th century, particularly in Europe. Malibu Sunrooms offers two styles of conservatories the Victorian (more than 3 sides) and the Edwardian (3 sides). Roof systems can be either a polycarbonate material that allows light to filter through, or an all glass roof. These rooms are often heated and cooled allowing them to be used year-round. Conservatories have an elegant, creative flair and are much more ornate than a traditional sunroom or solarium.

Screen Rooms

An AllView Screen Enclosure from Malibu Sunrooms is custom-manufactured to size. All screen panels roll and can be conveniently used as doors. Our nearly-invisible black-painted aluminum screen is far superior to lesser-quality fiberglass. It provides maximum visibility and strength, stays cleaner and resists sagging.

Malibu Sunrooms' professional design consultants will work with you to evaluate the space you would like to screen-in. An added feature to this build is the ability to add glass at a later date.
